What This Covers

Mobile does not get its own cheap tier. One person is one user at one tier, and the tier is set by the most capable thing the role does on either surface. This worksheet gives you one row per Mobile role, capability flags for inspections, materials, approvals, and dispatch, and a first read on whether the role lands at Limited, Base, or Premium. You confirm the tier against current IBM entitlement terms before you commit.

How to Read the Flags

Inspections sit in the light envelope on their own. They get heavier only when they drive materials, approvals, or follow-on work. Issuing or returning materials, approving records, and dispatching or planning are the actions that push a role past light. An add-on or industry application often needs a higher tier, sometimes Premium, so confirm the entitlement for that specific application before you size it. If the role also works on the desktop, it is still one user at one tier, set by the most capable thing it does across both surfaces.

No email, no signup. Pair it with the free AppPoints Estimator to turn the tier reads into a number you can take into the budget conversation. Every tier read here is a first pass to confirm against your own contract.

This worksheet inventories the Mobile roles. When you size the full pool against your real user list and rebuild the security groups that drive consumption, that is the AppPoints and Security Groups Workshop and Playbook.
